Last season, the Fox Chapel boys volleyball team won the WPIAL Class AAA championship and made it to the PIAA title game.
Coach Phil O’Keeffe lost a lot of talented seniors, but he is confident this year’s team will have a successful season.
“We lost five of our seven starters, including three first-team All-WPIAL players and one WPIAL MVP,” he said. “Our two returning starters are very good players, though.”
Those two are senior middle hitter Jack Reese, a middle hitter, and junior outside hitter Jerret Zaleski, who will move to outside hitter after playing libero last year.
