In a matchup of previously winless first year coaches, the Raiders Dave Vestal came away with his first victory at the Class AAAA level over the Foxes Tom Loughran.
Jack Cook threw for 154 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 120 yards and two scores to lead Seneca Valley (1-1, 1-1) to a 42-14 victory over Fox Chapel in the Quad North Conference Friday night.
Thomas Smith scored on a 26-yard interception return, and Nick Gizzo had a 49-yard touchdown run for Fox Chapel (0-2, 0-2).
