After watching Plum’s Khaynen Yocca dominate the fourth set of a WPIAL Class AAA volleyball semifinal match Tuesday night, Fox Chapel coach Phil O’Keeffe determined a lineup change was necessary.
The resulting move helped keep the Foxes’ championship hopes alive.
With junior Jack Reese neutralizing Yocca enough in the middle, No. 1 Fox Chapel (15-1) beat No. 4 Plum, 15-7, in the fifth set to earn a 3-2 semifinal victory at Hampton.
