The Fox Chapel football team’s hopes of breaking into the win column were dashed by previously winless Canon-McMillan last Friday.
The Big Macs scored twice in the first quarter and that was enough as they shut out the Foxes, 21-0, to drop the Foxes’ record to 0-5.
“We need to stop making mistakes,” FC coach Tom Loughran said.
“You can’t win football games when you help the other team with penalties and turnovers. It’s frustrating, but we’ll get ready for the next game.”
Up next for Fox Chapel will be a home game at 7 p.m. Friday against Shaler (1-4). It will be homecoming night for Fox Chapel.
