The Fox Chapel girls lacrosse team hopes to improve on last season’s showing when the Foxes finished 8-7 overall and 6-6 in section play to qualify for the WPIAL playoffs.

“We lost four seniors to graduation, so we are returning virtually our entire starting lineup,” FC coach Jen McCrady said. “We are also returning our top three scorers from last season.”

They are junior midfielder Meg McCrady, a Georgetown recruit who had 57 goals and 22 assists; senior midfielder Nikki Stumpf, a Liberty College recruit who had 40 goals and 16 assists; and junior attack Mikayla D’Cunha, who tallied 29 goals and 17 assists.

Joining McCrady and Stumpf in the starting midfield is sophomore Kate Goodwin.
