Ben Friedland scored a pair of goals as the Fox Chapel hockey team concluded the PIHL Class AA regular season with a 4-2 win over Plum on Tuesday night at the Bladerunners Ice Complex in Harmar. [ Fox Chapel (8-9-2) will play North Hills (9-10) at 8:30 p.m Monday, March 2 at BladeRunners in Warrendale.]
Friedland, a junior, slid the puck past Plum goalie James Boriello in the third period to give the playoff-bound Foxes (8-9-2) a three-goal lead with 8:23 left.
