Fox Chapel’s girls soccer team moved closer to securing its first section title since 2009 on Monday night.
The Foxes (11-1, 8-0) scored two quick second-half goals to secure a 2-1 win over Plum (10-3, 6-3) in Section 3-AAA. Deena DeBaldo scored on a cross-field pass from Taylor Cohen two minutes into the second half, and Margaux Everingham followed with a goal five minutes later.
