Fox Chapel senior Jacob Halasowski finished second in the 1,600-meter run at the Baldwin Invitational on Friday.
Also a member of the cross country team, he’s been running track since he was in seventh grade. He will continue running track next year at Carnegie Mellon University.
“The coaches at CMU told me I will be running the 5,000,” he said. “I think I can make an impact as a freshman.”
